Our Story
Get to Know Us
The Robert & Vera Dewar Foundation honors the legacy of its namesake, a husband-and-wife duo from Jamaica who created access to quality healthcare and education in their community. With unparalleled passion and purpose, they nurtured hundreds of families, an impact that continues into future generations. Their love and life lessons inspired people of all ages to look beyond adversity and pursue their dreams. Today the Foundation, led by the Dewars’ grandchildren, is a testament to that longstanding commitment to championing equity and opportunity for all.
Annual Health Fair

Join us for our annual health fair! We bring healthcare professionals directly into communities, to provide routine physicals and necessary medical forms for work and school. After a check-up, families with children receive a bookbag filled with essential school supplies and a warm meal to take home. We are committed to supporting our community's well-being and ensuring that every child has the tools they need to succeed. Help us to provide these valuable services dedicated to health and learning!
